Edward C. Leavenworth, 81, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2022. He was the husband of Patty (Asmus) Leavenworth for 51 years. They have two sons, Chris, and Eddie, named for his father. Ed was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1959.

Bethlehem residents past 38 years, Ed worked for AmeriGas for over 30 years, retiring just a few years ago. As the manager, he supervised the AmeriGas Program. Ed was devoted to his Catholic faith and was a member for many years of Church of the Nativity and Prince of Peace Parish. Ed was a longtime Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and served several terms as Grand Knight of Council No. 13266

Ed's family meant more to him than anything else and he was happiest spending time with them. He was a Baseball and Football fan, especially for the Jets and the Mets.

The funeral mass will be Friday October 28th, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Church of the Nativity, 48 East St. Bethlehem, Ct. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.
