Mr. Edward W. Fletcher, 67, of Middlebury died Monday June 20, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn (Cacciapouti) Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher was born February 3, 1944 in Greensboro, North Carolina a son of the late Edward and Marie (Keeshen) Fletcher. He was raised in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved from Old Tappan, New Jersey to Middlebury five years ago. He worked as an accountant for many years for Panepinto Properties in Jersey City and in his own private tax practice. He loved watching sporting events, playing at the casinos and following the stock market. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He has touched and influenced so many lives over the years. He will be sorely missed.
In addition to his loving wife of 42 years, he is survived by 2 sons, Edward J. and his wife Deirdre of Redding and Christopher and his wife Noel of Hamden and four grandchildren, Eddie, Katie, Anabel, and Molly.

Funeral: St. John of the Cross
Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday June 24th at 10am at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury, CT. Burial will follow in Lake Elise Cemetery, Middlebury, CT.
Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 23rd from 4-8pm at the Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North, Southbury, CT.
