Edward James Kurtz, 62, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at his home in Waterbury.

"Ed", "Eddie" born Jan. 23, 1959 in Waterbury, the 1st child of Ned W. and Judith A. (Berry) Kurtz. He was a graduate of Crosby High School where he played on the football team. He was a man of many trades, had a passion for cooking and good food. He was also the owner & operator of Ideal Fencing and Landscaping.

He leaves behind many who will always remember and love him. His brother John R. Kurtz of Terryville and two sisters Deborah A. Koury of Thomaston and Lisa B. SanSoucie of Prospect. His cousins, nieces and nephews. Also the many friends that he had over the years.

He was predeceased by his mother Judith and brother-in-law Victor "Skip" SanSoucie whom he dearly missed.
