Mrs. Dorothy L. Westerhoff of Roxbury died on February 26th in Hamilton, OH after a protracted illness. She was 86 years old. Born in Jodie, WV, she was the daughter of Hobart McKinley Wallace and Lola June Wallace. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, C.B. Westerhoff, her daughter Martha and son in law, Joe Wheeler, and her brother, Hobart McKinley Wallace, Jr.
As a resident of Roxbury, Dorothy volunteered her time serving on the Zoning Committee for 13 years. A master gardener, she was a member of the Rhododendron Society and the Day Lily Society. She had a passion for creating beauty with plantings which is reflected on her property in Roxbury still.
Survivors include two sisters, Ann Warmbir of Hammond, LA and Marjorie Warwick of Reno, NV; her daughters Jeanne Luse of Virginia Beach, VA, Laura Shackelford and her husband, John, of New Milford, CT and Marylee Westerhoff and her husband, Brent Broehm of Hamilton, OH; as well as her son B. Peter Westerhoff of Stillwater, OK.

Services: A funeral service will be held on Thursday March 1st at 1pm at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, Roxbury.
Visitation: Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from noon until the time of service.
