Dorothy Adel Walker, 97, of Main Street South died Monday April 3, 2017 at Beacon Brook in Naugatuck.  She was the wife of the late Donald Walker. Mrs. Walker was born December 6, 1919 in Beekman, New York, daughter of the late Joseph and Harriet Dinka.

She resided in Connecticut since 1951 and lived in Woodbury since 2000, where she was a member of the First Congregational Church. Dorothy had six children; she is survived by Barry Monroe, Edward Monore, Lynn Mikulka, Gail Ambadges, and was predeceased by Brian Monroe & Daniel Monroe.

Her family tree shows 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, all of whom she was extremely proud.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 4 pm Thursday April 6, 2017 at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street, with a memorial service to be held at 4 pm.

Private burial will be held in the New North Cemetery Woodbury.
