Mrs. Dorothy Madeline Raters Triplett, 97, of Southbury died 12/31/2010 at The Hearth in Southbury. She was the widow of Thomas Lafayette Triplett who she married on May 29, 1941. He predeceased her on March 28, 1990.
Mrs. Triplett was born October 12, 1913 in New Haven, Ct a daughter of the late August and Mary (Braun) Raters.
She is survived by her daughter Jane Triplett Portnoy and her husband Arthur of Middlebury, her son Thomas W. Triplett and his wife Bonnie of Blacksburg, VA, 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Portnoy Kunzmann, David Portnoy, Carrie Triplett Sherant and Kathryn Triplett and 2 great grandchildren, Riley and Jaime Kunzmann. She was predeceased by a daughter Mary Triplett Alexander in January 2001.
