Dorothy A. Seese (Valko), beloved wife and mother, aged 89, passed away Sunday, June 25th at Waterbury hospital in Waterbury, CT.

Preceded by her husband, Eugene, and children; David, Stephen & baby Mary, and grandchildren; Sean Seese, Samuel Guss and Maura Stark.

Survived by her children; Anne Rita (Stark), Rachel (Itani), Lorraine (Novinger), Vincent and Matthew. And an extended family including Debra (Seese), grandchildren; Kathleen Kubak, Kristen Merrell, Michael Guss & Allison (Bragg), Jillian Stark, Colleen & Risa Itani, Nicholas & Joseph Seese, Vanessa, Alexandra & Quentin Novinger, great grandchildren Liam, Kevin, Connor & Brendan Kubak, and Violet & Dash Merrell.

She graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a music teacher but devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of her husband. She had a great wellspring of faith in God and spent time volunteering for Most Holy Rosary church in Maine, NY, and St. Joseph's church in Endicott, NY, as an organist, choir director, teacher and in whatever form she was able. She loved spending time working on crafts of all kinds for her family, as well as donating them to those in need in her community. Dorothy had also spent time as a member of the Maine-Endwell school board, and the Binghamton Choral Society.

There will be a graveside service at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic cemetery in St. Michael, PA. on Saturday, July 1st at 11am, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.

In lieu of flowers, the family recommends requesting a remembrance of Dorothy at masses of your choosing.
