Avid animal lover
Ms. Dorothy Ann Russo, 74, of Woodbury died Saturday May 12, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital. She was born April 14, 1938 in Bronx, New York, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Harrigan) Russo.
She most recently was employed by Ericson Insurance in Washington Depot as an account manager for several years. Prior to her insurance career, she was involved in the perfume industry in Europe where she lived for a number of years. She was an avid animal lover and advocate. Dorothy was a very elegant woman who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a cousin, Richard Ferraro and his wife Pat of Fairfax, VA and their children; a god daughter Michelle Catalano of Staten Island, NY, and many close, loving friends.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Animals for Life PO Box 7 South Britain, Ct 06487.

Funeral: St. Teresa's Church

Services: A memorial mass will be held on Friday May 18th at St. Teresa's Church, Woodbury at 10am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.
