WASHINGTON DEPOT- Dorothy G. Hill, 78, of Washington Depot, died Sunday March 18, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Elmer Hill, Jr.
Mrs. Hill was born October 5, 1933 in New Milford, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Murtagh) Geyer. She has resided in Washington Depot her whole life and was on the board for the Inlands and Wetlands Commission in Washington Depot. Mrs. Hill was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and a member of the Women's guild and the choir. She loved people and nature and enjoyed reading.
She leaves two sons, David Hill and his wife Susan of Litchfield and Michael Hill and his wife Nancy of Knightdale, NC, four daughters, Kerry Saharek and her husband Stephen of Washington, CT, Kathleen Holden of Pembroke, MA, Julie Schwindt and her husband Jeffrey of Colebrook, CT and Elena Kaut and her husband Michael of Poolville, TX, two brothers, George Geyer and his wife Georgia of Southington and Dennis Geyer of Bethlehem, fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as nineteen nieces and nephews.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made to the Washington Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O. Box 244, Washington Depot, CT 06794.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday March 22 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Washington Depot, Washington, CT.
