Mrs. Dorothy H. Finnegan, 80, of Southbury, CT died Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Pomperaug Woods Health Care Center in Southbury, CT surrounded by her family. Mrs. Finnegan was born June 22, 1929 in Sheridan, Ky. She has lived in Southbury, CT since 1998, previously residing in Evansville, IN.

Mrs. Finnegan was the wife of the late Charles Finnegan. She is survived by a daughter Janet Walker and her husband Charles of Southbury, CT, two cherished granddaughters, Stephanie Walker of Boston, MA and Ashley Walker of Southbury, CT and many caring nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Harvey and Betty Agnes (Clark) Stallion, eight brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Finnegan was also preceded in death by her second husband, Alan Hite.

She attended Sacred Heart Church in Southbury, CT and Christ the King Church in Evansville, IN. Mrs. Finnegan enjoyed traveling, cooking, fishing, and sewing and especially spending time with her family. The greatest gift she gave was modeling a Christian life. She always kept in communication with family and friends and she will be missed by the many lives she touched.

Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23rd at Ziemer Funeral home, 800 Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN at 10: 00 a.m.
