Doris E. Wissel, 90, of Southbury, CT, (formerly of Scarsdale, NY) passed away peacefully on November 2, 2012 after a life dedicated to family and faith. Doris was born September 15, 1922 in New York, NY. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter, in 1977. She is survived by her three sons, Peter Wissel (Susan Philbrick), Paul Wissel (Deborah) and Philip Wissel (Christine); by her beloved grandchildren, Kate Wissel (Shawn Fitzgibbons), Debbie Wissel (Paul Hastings), Peter Wissel, Ashley Wissel, Corbin Wissel and Jonathan Wissel; and her three great-grandchildren, Claire Fitzgibbons, Liam Hastings and Colin Fitzgibbons.

Services: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7 at 11: 00 a.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North. Burial will be in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
