Doris E. Lewis, 90, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2019 at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. Doris was born in Derby, CT to Myron E. and Fanny (Vogelbach) Lewis on April 17, 1929.She worked for many years at Bardens Co., Danbury, CT where she retired from. She enjoyed and was well known for her ability to make American Girl Doll clothing. She also crafted beautiful porcelain dolls. Doris was also fond of bingo, playing cards, and gardening.

She is survived by her sisters Helen Jurgens, Betty Chapman, and Inez Ely. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her three brothers, Elmer, Reginald, and Robert Lewis.
