Obituary

WOODBURY- Donald E. Peterson peacefully passed away on January 31, 2012 after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born on January 28, 1931 in The Bronx, New York. He enjoyed skiing at Mt. Snow almost every winter weekend, driving his John Deere tractor, swimming in his pool and spending time with his family. He lived for 38 years in South Salem, New York. He earned a BS Degree from New York University. He was a member of the Manhattan Chapter Order of the DeMolay, served in the United States Air Force, coached his son's little league teams. He was Captain of the Valhalla Ambulance Corp, a bus driver for the Thornwood Lancers Marching Band, was the timer and announcer for the Lewisboro Swim Team and a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church.
After working for many years in food industry sales, for the last 30 years he worked side by side with his wife, Anne at World Innovators, Inc.

He leaves his wife of 58 years, Anne (Jackson) Peterson, two sons, Barry ,his wife Lori, grandchildren Kelsey and Carter; Roy, his wife Gabrielle, grandchildren Nicolle, Brianna and Colin; and his daughter Donna and her husband Greg Pesce, grandchildren Haley and Jack, brother in-law William Iller, niece Lynda Archer and nephews Erik Iller and William Iller, II and their families.
