Donald Bruce Del Re was born March 18, 1967 in Montvale, NJ. Donald had succumbed to recent health issues on June 22, 2018. He is predeceased by his mother, Deborah Del Re Gracy, step father James Del Re, and Uncle Daniel Benjamin- all of Southbury.

Donald was an athletic child. He enjoyed hockey and was scouted for baseball from multiple high schools. Donald was the proprietor of Del Re Construction prior to returning to Southbury from Wilmington, NC. While living in NC, he developed  a "reel" passion for fishing with friends.

Donald is survived by his sister Meredith  (Pat) Marr and Jamie (Kevin) O'Neill. He also leaves behind two aunts- Judi Jensen and Terry Benjamin Currie, four nephews - Brendan,  Ryan and Joshua Marr and Kevin O'Neill Jr., his cousins Jared, Mackenzie, and Megan Currie (and their families) as well as his beloved dog Thurman.

There will be a graveside ceremony on Sat. June 30, 2018 at Pine Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am. Munson Lovetere Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
