Domenic Perucci, of Southbury, formerly of Prospect, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford from heart failure. Mr. Perucci was born August 28, 1953 in Waterbury, son of Otello Perucci and the late Liliana Perucci. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and attended the University of Utah and Waterbury State Technical College. He was employed by Perkin-Elmer, working on the Hubble space telescope, in quality control, the Hughes Corp and most recently Goodrich Corp in Danbury. His passion was fishing, especially off the coast of Rhode Island. He also enjoyed cooking. Besides his father of Prospect, he leaves behind two sons, James and Mathew and his ex-wife Pat McDowell, all of Southbury; his brother Carmen of Prospect; his sister, Cindi and her husband Luigi Anzalone of PA; nieces Christina and Nicole; nephew Andrew ; step-mother Silvana and three cousins.
