Southbury- David Joseph "DJ" Ciola, left this earth on March 13, 2025.

DJ was born January 25, 1996, and he was born to ride. From an early age, he wanted to ride motorcycles, drive cars and explore the world. DJ loved his animals, particularly Crystal, his Chow Chow, his buddy Scooby and his flock of British shorthair cats. He and his mom were best friends. They shared a home together in Southbury. They leaned on each other through thick and thin.

DJ enjoyed spending time outdoors and worked for his good friend Nate as a landscaper.

This past year, DJ found true love with Breanna. They were engaged to be married in October 2025. They loved their road trips together, which included camping and hiking. They bought and sold cars and enjoyed every moment spent together.

DJ is survived by his mother Debra Ciola, his fiancé Breanna Vasaturo, his sister Amy Langmaid, his two nephews and niece, his aunt and uncle Donna and Ralph Coppola, his aunt Cynthia Zott, and many loving cousins.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere is assisting with the arrangements.
