Dimitrios Tzenis, 71, of Southbury, formerly of New Milford, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury with his family by his side. He was the husband of Therese (Martin) Tzenis. Mr. Tzenis was born February 24, 1939 in Greece, son of the late Emanuel and Evagelia (Tsepas) Tzenis. Mr. Tzenis
retired from Nestle in New Milford after 30 years of service. Besides his wife of 42 years, he is survived by his daughter Cynthia Tzenis of Torrington; his son Andy Tzenis and his wife Amanda of Torrington; his grandson Noah Dimitrios Martin; two brothers, Michael Tzenis and his wife Betty of Sherman and Kosta Tzenis of Greece; his sister Panayota Papamichael of Greece; his niece Kim Martin and her husband Tom of Pelham, Ny and their children, great nephew Nick Martin and great niece and Goddaughter Zoe Martin.

Funeral: Christ the Savior Orthodox Church

Services: Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11: 00 a.m. at Christ the Savior Orthodox Church, 1070 Roxbury Road, Southbury. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, New Milford.

Visitation: Calling hours Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 8: 30 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. North.
