Dennis Charles Larsen, Esquire, 68, died on January 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Hoboken N.J., August 23, 1942 and then lived in Norwood N.J. for 57 years, recently moving to CT. He was the son of the late Carl and Elizabeth Larsen of Bethlehem. He was a graduate of Dayton Univ. and the Cincinnati Law School and was a member of the Ohio, New Jersey and New York Bar. Dennis was a taxation lawyer and had a solo practice. .Dennis served his country in the Army as a Captain, JOTC officer in Panama training officers to lead troops in the Vietnam War.
He was an avid reader of the New York Times, had a great sense of humor, and a great love of roast beef and sports. Dennis had the opportunity before college to try out for the New York Yankees, making it to the final 9 for centerfielder in 1960. His favorite player was of course #7 Mickey Mantle. Dennis was always with a smile and a lending hand. Survived by two brothers, Dr. Carl Larsen of Hingham Mass, and Dr Roger Larsen of Salisbury, Mass; his sister, Elizabeth Larsen Santora, RN of Bethlehem.. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all that came in contact with him, especially his nephew Anthony that would always call him to get information for he was just as knowledgeable as "Google".
