Deborah Del Re Gracy, 71, passed away Monday June 11, 2018 sudddenly at Waterbury Hospital. Debbie was born October 2, 1946 in Passaic, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Benjamin and Helen Stewart Benjamin. She is survived by her twin sister, Judi Jensen of NJ., Terry Benjamin Currie of Me., son Donald Del Re of Southbury, Meredith (Pat) Marr, Jamie (Kevin) O'Neill as well as four grandsons – Brendan, Ryan and Joshua Marr, and Kevin O'Neill Jr.

Aside from her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her brother Daniel Benjamin, husbands James Del Re and Richard Gracy.

Debbie was a caring, generous woman who enjoyed life. After moving to Southbury, she and Jim had become the owners of Koenigs Art Emporium. Together they also created Del Re Associates, a successful advertising agency.

Later in life, she and Dick enjoyed traveling across the country. She particularly enjoyed Bailey Island, Me. However, Southbury was always her home. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

In memory of Debbie, her family asks others to practice kindness to others. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude. Calling hours are Saturday June 16, 2018 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St N., Southbury. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery immediately following.
