New Milford-  David W. Sedelnick, Sr., 68,  passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2022. He was the loving husband of Valerie (Wood) Sedelnick for 29 years

Dave was born March 19, 1954 in Norwalk to the late Nicholas and Gladys (Bocklecamp) Sedelnick

He attended Brien McMahon High School and developed the skills to become a mechanic, truck driver and talented handy man. While he was a skilled "jack of all trades",  he enjoyed his employment in the lumber industry at Washington Supply Co. the most. When Dave wasn't working or helping someone, he took pleasure in his Harley and Corvette. Although, he was best known for his great sense of  humor and generosity, Dave was simply a man who loved his family most of all. He will be greatly missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Sedelnick. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Sedelnick,  his sister Sharon D'Orlando, his mother-in-law Clare Wood, his son David Sedelnick Jr. of Vermont, his step-daughter Jill (Boccuzzi) Gulla of Colorado and son-in-law Brad Gulla, his step-son David Boccuzzi Jr. of New York, and three grandchildren Jacob, William and Daniel Gulla, as well as his sisters-in-law Deborah Wood-Hoyt, Pamela Perlik and Catherine Politi. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved dog Maggie.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by the family.
