Rosenbluh
September 26, 1934 – September 9, 2022
We are sad to announce the passing of David Rosenbluh of Bethel, CT. He was born in 1934 in Bridgeport, CT. He passed away at the age of 87 after a battle with lung disease on September 8, 2022.
Over the years David was on the Monroe Town Council, involved in the Jaycees, and the Lion's Club. He was very proud of his service in the Navy as a Submariner from 1952 – 1956, and was a member of the Color Guard. Until his death he served as a Deacon at the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Redding, CT., where he also served on the Outreach committee and was a founding member of a veteran's group. He loved watching women's UConn basketball with family and friends. David was very civic minded and had a love for people.
David is survived by his sons David and Robert Rosenbluh, and daughters, Diane Cotter and Stephanie Wolf Phillips, and grandchildren; Robert Charles Rosenbluh, Robert and Shawn Cotter, Eric and Kyle Phillips, and Great-Grandchildren; Cameron and Christian Rosenbluh, and many friends.
David's Memorial Service will be held at First Church of Christ, Congregational, 25 Cross Hwy, Redding, CT 06896 on October 15, 2022 at 11 am.
