David Alan Platt, 48, of Grassy Hill Road passed away on October 25, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on May 27, 1966. He was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School class of '84. He became an electro plater for Custom Design Services out of Danbury and American Electro Products of Waterbury. He enjoyed hunting, stock car racing and working in the yard. You would always find Dave on a sunny summer day cutting hay in many of the local fields in town. He leaves behind his mother Mary Platt of Woodbury, his brothers Bob Platt and his husband Jim Potter of Wolcott, Donald Platt and his companion Trudy Rea of Carmel, New York, his sister Marianne Aquilar and her husband Dan Aquilar of Woodbury. He is predeceased by his father John Platt.
