David James Metcalf, 21, of Weekeepeemee Road, Woodbury, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. David was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School in 2009. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and working with anything mechanical. He is survived by his parents; his mom Debbie Lindberg and her husband John of Woodbury and his father Dave Metcalf and his fiancé©e June Bassett of Oakville; his two brothers, Tyler Lindberg, Ed Gilbert Jr. and his fiancé©e Kristen DeSantis and his only nephew, Mason Michael Gilbert, all of Woodbury. David is also survived by an extended family of 10 aunts and uncles. David was also a proud member of the Cole Family of Woodbury.

Services: Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 15 at Noon at the New North Cemetery in Woodbury.
