Mr. David Warren Kimball Sr., 90, of Heritage Village died Tuesday August 12, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Ruth (Cotton) Kimball.
Mr. Kimball was born December 25, 1917 in Boston, MA the son of the late Guy Howard and Mabel E. (Glass) Kimball. He was a US Navy veteran, having served our country during WWII. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He worked for Robertson Paperbox in Montville as their Sales Manager and then worked for Rand - Whitney Folding Carton Corporation in Worcester, MA as their Vice President.
David was past Commodore of the Niantic Bay Yacht Club. He was an avid airplane pilot, loved to sail and had a great love of animals. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his loving wife of 67 years, he is survived by a son David W. Kimball Jr. and his wife Gail of Granby, a daughter Andrea Greene and her husband Harry of Stonington, three grandchildren, Tyler, Terry and Nancy Hindermann and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials: In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
