David Finch, 70, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Danbury Hospital. Mr. Finch was the husband of the late Coralinn (Spear) Finch. He was born in Norwalk, CT on November 11, 1939. A long time resident of Sherman, CT he had been residing in Southbury for the last 5 years. He received an associate's degree in forestry from Nichols College, and was a self-employed arborist. Mr. Finch also served 2 years in the army, stationed in Korea.
Known fondly as "King David" by his friends, Mr. Finch was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Mr. Finch is survived by his brother, Jared Finch, three daughters, Heather Duggan, Elizabeth Vena, Rachel Finch; son, William Finch, and 6 grandchildren.
