David Barlas, recently of Jamaica Plain, MA, formerly of Southbury, CT, and previously a long-time resident of Lake Waubeeka (Danbury) died peacefully on June 25, 2015. He was 97 years old. He was preceded in death on June 25, 2013 by his beloved wife Ruth Barlas. David is survived by his daughters Judy Barlas of Silver Spring, MD, and Elaine Barlas of Jamaica Plain, MA.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst MA.
