Southbury- Daniel R. Sica, 72, of Heritage Village passed away after a brief illness on January 5, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.  Daniel was born on July 7, 1950 in the Bronx, New York.  He was the son to the late Angelina (Gallo) and Dominic Sica.  Daniel was a long time resident of the Bronx and an avid Yankee's fan.  He was a member of Local 3 Electrical Union in NYC and worked many years as a construction electrician on various projects in NYC.

Daniel is survived by his brother and sister in law, Anthony and Renate Sica. He was a loving uncle to Andrew and LeeAnn, great uncle to their children Evan and Nicholas; a loving uncle to Laurie Acosta and her husband Nelson, great uncle to their children Gia and Kloe.  He was also a beloved uncle to Joseph McMahon and his wife Maria, great uncle to their children Austin, Jared, and Dylan.  He is  survived by many cousins and friends.

A service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 4 pm at Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. N. Southbury. A visitation will follow from 4:30 pm until 8pm.
