On Wednesday, June 16, 2010, Mr. Daniel N. Griffin, Sr., of 221 Bacon Pond Road, has reunited with his wife Leona of 51 years.

For over 35 years, he had worked for Hubbell Plastics in Newtown. He always enjoyed Silver Sands Beach at Savin Rock, lighthouses and boats at Mystic Seaport. He lived a happy and fulfilling life.

Sadly, Dan will be missed by his children: Brenda Wrigley, Karen Spino, Lori Marklewitz, Wendy Anderson and Daniel Griffin, Jr.

Papa will also be missed by his grandchildren Bill and Kristy Harrison, Brian Marklewitz,
Mark and Justin Anderson.

Dan was one of 11 children and survived by his siblings Frances Brannen of Seymour, Philip Griffin of California, Donna Gail Arsenault of Stratford, Jeff Griffin of Southbury, Allen Griffin of Huntington, Charlotte Hill of California, William Griffin of Seymour and Robert Griffin of California.

Dan was predeceased by his parents Charles and Marion (Stotz) Griffin, and two brothers, Charles and John Griffin, both of Huntington.
