Cristina Elizabeth Gomez-de Bruycker passed away August 13, 2007 in Thompson Falls, Montana.
Cristina, a former student of The Canterbury School in New Milford and Nonnewaug High School, was working on a family friend's ranch in Montana and pursuing her life's dream to be an equestrian rider. She was involved in a fatal automobile accident that claimed her life far too soon.
At seventeen, she is survived by her parents, Armando and Lesley Gomez, her two brothers, Ryan and Brennan Long, her maternal grandmother, Marjorie deBruycker, of Delray Beach, FL and her paternal grandmother, Eudelia Nunez, of Veracruz, Mexico.
Calling hours will be held at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St. on Sunday August 19th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday August 20th at 10:00am at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Woodbury followed by the burial at New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
