Corey Smock 32, of Waterbury, CT (formerly of Southbury, CT) passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2015. He was born to Linda R. Smock and the late Delmer E Smock Jr., both of Southbury (formerly of Bloomington, IL), on February 27, 1983 in Denver, CO.
He is survived by his wife Kaitlyn R. Smock (his lobster) 29, of Waterbury CT (formerly of Seymour, CT). His mother Linda R. Smock and sister Kelsey C. Smock 24, of Southbury, and many aunts, uncles, in-laws and close friends who are like family.
He was pre-deceased by his grandparents Delmer and Florence Smock and Paul and Josephine Rettke and his aunt Mary Jo Rettke all of Bloomington IL.
Corey graduated from Pomperaug High School in 2001 and from UCONN in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Technology. He was a medical underwriter for Aetna, in Hartford, CT. He cherished his dog Payton and cat Frodo. Corey loved to listen to all kinds of music, Techo was his favorite. He enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, playing video games and watching Anime. He will be missed beyond measure and loved forever by those he touched with his infectious laugh, smart Alec personality and kind spirit.
