Constance Hopkins Dearborn Wagner, 78, wife of William C. Wagner, Jr. died unexpectedly, but peacefully on Wednesday December 10, 2025 in her home with her husband by her side. Connie was born May 20, 1947 in Bath, Maine, daughter to the late Carl Revere and Ruth Ellen (Robinson) Dearborn.

In her early years she spent many treasured years on the shores of the Kennebec River in Maine, living on its beautiful riverfront with her cousins and grandparents nearby. She was a graduate of Morse High School Class of 1965 and Virginia Intermont College.

After college graduation Connie was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for twenty-seven years. Her travels took her to Bolivia (where she married William C. Wagner Jr.) Colombia, Venezuela, and the Middle East.

She was an active member of the St. Martin's Anglican Church in Ocala Florida, serving on its altar guild and vestry. Connie was a lover of all animals, especially her beloved dachshunds and horses.

Besides her husband Bill of 38 years, she is survived by her sons William C. Wagner, Jr., Christian M. Wagner, Robert G. Wagner, her nieces Lissa Stone (Mark), Evelyn Stone, nephews Dr. Duke Lovetere, Andrew Stone, her grandchildren William C. Wagner IV, Matthew S. Wagner, Julia A. Taylor, Andrew P. Wagner, Grace E. Wagner, Nicole S. Cavazzini, Adelene Cavazzini: her great grandchildren Allison Taylor, Rowan Wagner, Avery Wagner, Oakley Taylor, Foster Taylor, Cecilia Wagner, Andrew Wagner, William C Wagner V and Finley Taylor.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and John Lovetere.

A memorial service will be held in her memory at St. Martins Anglican Church in Ocala, and internment will be held in the Arlington National Cemetery.
