Conrad Carl Henne, Jr. of Port Chester, NY died peacefully Monday, October 17, at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT surrounded by his family.
Mr. Henne was born May 31, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. He was raised in Mamaroneck, NY and graduated from Rye Neck High School.
He attended two years of college at Roanoke College in Virginia before earning his Architecture degree from Columbia University in New York City. After college, he served in the US Army as a Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers during World War II. He returned and established a successful architecture practice where he applied his passion to numerous churches and businesses in the Greater New York area.
He married his best friend and wife of 57 years, Geraldine, and raised their three children in Port Chester, NY where he resided until his death. He enjoyed music and was an active member of his church choir for many years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Henne is survived by his daughter Linda and her husband John Gulak of Woodbury, CT; his daughter Janet and her husband Gary Redinger of Hampstead, NC; and his son Craig Henne and his wife Anne of Greenville, SC. He leaves 7 grandchildren, Dmitry, Yuri, Dan, Tyler, Nic, April, and Aaron; and 4 great grandchildren Adriane, Austin, Annelise, and Landon.

Services: A memorial service will take place at 2pm Saturday, October 22, at St. James Lutheran Church, Peter Road Southbury, CT.
