Chelsea Ann LaValle, 33, Southbury CT, returned to the Lord June 2, 2026. She was the devoted wife to Joseph Thomas LaValle.

Chelsea was born on June 3, 1992, in Derby to Donald and Marlene Marcik and grew up in Southbury. She was always active, whether it be gymnastics or cheerleading, where she was All American at Pomperaug High School. This is also where she met her husband Joseph, married for 10 years. She received a degree in Accounting from Western Connecticut State University, as she also enjoyed working with numbers and solving problems.

Chelsea was the light of so many lives, always smiling and loving. She loved her family, Disney, Taylor Swift’s music, and above all else, her daughter Isabella.

She is survived by her cherished daughter Isabella, husband Joseph, her parents Donald and Marlene Marcik, her sister Melissa Nagrabski and her husband Mark, her Godparents Judy and John Tillman, her In-Laws Paul and Debbie LaValle, Alexa Bandurski and Husband Andrew, Paul LaValle Jr. and wife Kimberly, Rachel LaValle, Samantha Witte and Husband Raymond, her cousins Julie, Carl, Cate, Christopher Deprofio, Jay, Marilee, Ian and Finn Tillman, Michelle Veronsi, Taylor Bartley, Erin Markowski and Mary Curley. She is also survived by her aunts Marybeth Curley and husband Mike, Cindy Bartley and husband Steve, and nieces and nephews Nathan, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Andy, Harper, and Finley.

She will be forever missed by all those who were lucky enough to know and love her.

A brief visitation will take place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Southbury location of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main St. N. from 11:00 am until 11:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury, CT 06488 at 12:00 pm.
