Charles Spencer Daniels, 85, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Neveda. Charles was born August 16, 1925 in Woodbury, to Harold James and Clara Helen Markham Daniels. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine Louise Daniels of Las Vegas; his daughter, Donna Daniels Wood and grandson, Kevin Eugene Wood of Torrance, CA; his sister, Ruby Daury and his brother Richard Daniels of Woodbury; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Alma Judson of Woodbury. Charles was a World War II veteran and served in the Army Air Corps as a turret gunner on B-24 planes during anti-submarine patrol on the East Coast from Virginia to Greenland. He worked for many years at the A.W. Haydon Co. in Waterbury in research and development and new product design. He was transferred to Culver City, CA as general manager in 1963. In 1985, Charles and Maxine moved to Las Vegas where he worked for Hydro-Dynamics for several years before retiring.
