Southbury – Catherine A. Welch, 71, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2021 in the Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT., with her husband by her side.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband, William J. Welch, her sons and their wives, John W. Welch (Gloria M.), Michael C. Welch (Emily H.) and her granddaughters Annabelle M., Gabriella G., Jenna R. and another granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by her brothers John R. Furino, and Peter P. Furino and his wife Eileen H. Catherine was predeceased by her parents John R. Furino and Rose M. Furino.

Calling hours are Thursday September 2, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St.  North, Southbury, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown, CT. on Friday September 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Masks are required for all in attendance.
