Catherine Kay Donovan, 96, of 13 Charron Street, Bridgeport, CT died Tuesday, July 7, 2009. She was the beloved Aunt of Anne E Hamann. Ms. Donovan was a legal secretary for the City of Bridgeport and the Gordon & Scalo Law Firm. She enjoyed traveling, music, spending time near the ocean and enjoying visits with her extended family and friends. Besides her niece, she leaves two great nephews, Richard C Hamann of Danbury, CT and Paul Whelan of Midlothian, VA, four great nieces, Laura Bentivoglio and her husband Mark of Southbury, CT, Charmaine Hamann and her husband Angel of Gaithersburg, MD, Allicyn Hackett and her husband Pat of Tiverton, RI and Virginia Whelan of Dewitt, VA. In addition, Ms. Donovan leaves 5 great-grandnephews, Joseph, Robert, Sean, Matthew and Nicolas, as well as two great-grandnieces Marissa and Amanda.
