Catherine Susan (Montello) Archambault, 80, of Middlebury, CT passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2021. She was the loving partner of Richard Reale for over 25 years. She was born on May 28, 1941 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Lucille (Coviello) and Steven Montello. Catherine grew up in Waterbury, CT and was a graduate of Crosby High School and later attended Mattatuck Community College.

She had a 27 year career at Uniroyal Chemical, as a chemical analyst. Catherine also served as a lifelong member of the Middlebury Fire Department as a firefighter and E.M.T. She was an avid cook and loved sharing her recipes with her children and grandchildren. She was a passionate fan of NASCAR, the New England Patriots, a model train enthusiast, and never met an animal she didn't love. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her partner Richard, she leaves behind three daughters, Deirdre Faiz and her husband Ahmed of Wolcott, Kerry DiPietro and her husband Arnold of Middlebury, Angela Hague and her husband Keith of Norwell, Massachusetts. She also leaves her six grandchildren, Adam and Ali Faiz, Kaitlyn and Meili DiPietro, Harris and Isabel Hague, her beloved dog Annie, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Louis Montello and Julie Roy.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with a prayer mass to follow at the Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury. A private burial service will follow at the Lake Elise Cemetery in Middlebury.
