Obituary for Carol Linda Ranish
Ranish, Carol Linda, of Middlebury, CT, passed away of lymphoma while surrounded by family at her home on March 15, 2016. Married to Melvyn Ranish on August 13th, 1965 (51 years and high school sweethearts), mother of Jeffrey and Suzanne. Grandmother to Jack Kelley. Born to parents George and Anne Levine in Brooklyn, NY. She is survived by sister Judi Lazarus. She graduated from State University of New York at Oswego in 1963 and taught elementary school for 4 years in Syracuse, NY. She devoted the next years to raising her children and creating a loving household. She was also a successful real estate agent for many years. Carol has many friends, with whom she loved to travel and play sports. She was an avid golf and tennis player. Most of all she loved her family, most recently her grandson.
