Obituary

Mrs. Carol A. Bioski, 67, of Middlebury passed away Friday September 3rd at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of Edward V. Bioski, Jr.
Mrs. Bioski was born May 31, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington a daughter of the late William H. Clark IV and Katherine (Hill) Clark.
Carol was a loving wife for 43 years, as well as a devoted mother and grandmother. Her generosity and love of others was unparalleled. She always referred to her daughters as her treasures and selflessly devoted her life to her family. Carol had a brightness about her that drew others to her, and was a trusted counselor to her family and friends. Her boundless creativity was evident in all she did, from wrapping beautiful gifts to crafting intriguing movie themes. Carol loved to travel to foreign destinations, including trips with her family to Budapest, Vienna, Czech Republic, China and France. However, Carol was most at home in her lovely garden where she took care to plant a variety of roses, zinnias, and petunias.
Carol graduated from Utah State University with a BA and a Masters degree in Sociology and a minor in Interior Design. She was President of Sigma Kappa Sorority, the venue through which she met her beloved husband, Edward. During her college years Carol performed with an A cappella trio and won honors for her singing abilities. Carol was also a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and devoted many hours of service to God and her community.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters A. Adrienne Hansen of Wenatchee, Washington, Heidi C. Allen of New York City and Kareena Bioski of Hollywood Hills, California, a brother William H. Clark of Collinston, Louisiana, a sister Betty Rowe of Natchez, Mississippi, three grandchildren, Landon Allen, Lane Hansen and Pierce Hansen, 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1004, Meriden, Ct 06450.

Cemetery: Lake Elise Cemetery

Location: Munson-Lovetere Southbury

Funeral: Southbury Ward Church

Services: A funeral service will take place on Thursday September 9th at 1pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Southbury, 1021 Roxbury Rd. Burial will follow in Lake Elise Cemetery, Middlebury.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.
