Carmen Vazquez Randall, 89, of Southbury, died Monday, August 17, 2009 at The Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the widow of Robert M. Randall. Mrs. Randall was born June 7, 1920 in Witherbee, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Conception Gonzales Vazquez. Mrs. Randall retired as an executive with Bell Telephone after 35 years of service. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Vasquez of New York City; a brother, Joseph A. Vasquez of Huntington, NY; a sister-in-law, Fran Vasquez of New Monmouth, NJ; two nephews, Joseph A. Vasquez Jr. of Hinsdale, IL and Robert Vasquez of Marlton, NJ and a niece, Linda English of Falls Church, VA. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Serafin Vasquez and Walter Vasquez and a sister, Marie Schulz.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lutheran Home, 990 Main St. North, Southbury.

Services: A memorial mass will be held Thursday, August 20, at 10: 00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will be private.
