Mrs. Carmen G. Quint, 87, of Woodbury died Tuesday October 6, 2009 at the Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation in New Milford. She was the widow of Franklin E. Quint.
Mrs. Quint was born February 20, 1922 in Ft. Kent, Maine a daughter of the late Alphee and Elodie (St. Germain) Guy. She was a graduate of Ft. Kent High School and Maine General Hospital School of Nursing in Portland. She was a member of the Army Nurse Corp during WWII and was stationed in India before working in Private Duty Nursing. She retired from the Woodbury Post Office. Mrs. Quint has been a member of St. Teresa's Church in Woodbury since 1945. She was also a member of the Blinded Vet Association and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #155. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed cruel work and gardening.
She is survived by her two sons Donald Quint of Woodbury and Michael Quint of Warren, a daughter Mary Lou Brown of Thomaston, a sister Florence Hussy of Bristol, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Normand Guy, Louis Guy, Robert Guy and George Guy and four sisters, Pauline Pelletier, Lillian LaMare, Gloria Cyr and Rolanda Plourde.

Cemetery: New North Cemetery
Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury
Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 10th at 11: 00am at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson - Lovetere, 2 School St. Burial will follow in New North Cemetery, Woodbury.
