Carley Putnam, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Dennis Sideropoulos and her daughter, Thea Sideropoulos.

Carley was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 22, 1952. Growing up on the North Shore, she developed a love of sailing and being by the ocean.

She attended Briarcliff College where Carley earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She went on to have a career revolving around, and helping others. Carley worked with troubled youth at Housatonic Adolescent Hospital, taught parenting and anger management classes at New Opportunities in Waterbury, and provided home care and companionship to the elderly.

While her work life was fulfilling, Carley's greatest joy was being a mom. Together with Thea, Carley loved gardening and cooking. She also loved spending time with her many dear friends. Carley was a loving, loyal and devoted friend.
