Bruce Munro Henry, 65, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Waterbury, Connecticut, after a heroic battle with cancer.  Born on December 10, 1959, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Bruce lived a life marked by dedication to his work and deep devotion to his family, especially his grandchildren. Bruce built a respected career as a heavy equipment operator, working with several of the major construction companies throughout the region. Known for his skill and reliability on the job site, he earned the admiration of colleagues and supervisors alike. His work ethic was matched only by his kind heart and unwavering commitment to those around him. Bruce's large family was central to his life. He is survived by his daughters Christine Henry of Bethlehem, CT and Raeanne Jacobsen of Bellingham, MA, along with grandchildren Sadie and Christopher Hollon, and Zak DiSilva and Laine Perkins. His siblings Marlyn and Charles (Chug) of Woodbury and Dan of Woodbridge, VA along with nieces Amanda Smith of Keene NH and Caroline Cetrullo of Georgia; nephews Joshua Pekar of Shelton, Philip Henry of Virginia, Jayson and Jayme Sierzant of Stratford, in addition to numerous family members in Canada, also remain to honor his memory. Bruce was predeceased by parents Joyce Eagle Henry and Philip D. Henry, MD; younger siblings Paul Eagle, Caroline Anne, Alexandra Mowen, and nephew Michael Charles. Those who knew Bruce will remember him as a hardworking and family-oriented man, whose quiet strength and generous spirit left a lasting impression. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, Main Street in Woodbury, CT.  There will be a prayer service immediately following at 7:00pm. Interment will be at  New North Cemetery in Woodbury, on Saturday, September 6th at 11am. Family friends are invited to the Henry home immediately following for a small memorial BBQ.
