Southbury - Brenda Stewart, 76, died on Monday, May 4, 2015. Brenda was born on November 10, 1938 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late David H. and H. Ruth (Walmsley) Stewart of Oxford.

Brenda was predeceased by her brother Alan David Stewart, formerly of Oxford. She is survived by her brother Gary A. Stewart and his wife Jean (Fritz) of Pennsylvania, Alan's wife Ellen (Chapman Silkoff) Stewart, numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Brenda spent her first six years in Seymour, and then lived at the Southbury Training School for over seventy years. The family would like to thank the staff of STS for their loving, long-term care of Brenda.

Arrangements are through Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home, 2 School St., Woodbury with burial at the North Cemetery, Woodbury.

Services: A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 11: 00 a.m. at Southbury Training School Cottage 33 on White Oak St.
