Betty L (Tootsie) Satula, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away February 15, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony M Satula.
Betty was born in Sherman on May 7, 1940 to the late Oscar and Solveig Madland. She retired in February 2007 from AmeriGas in Litchfield, after 35 years of as an office manager. Mrs. Satula was a devoted mother and animal lover who loved to cook. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons; Garry Satula of Bethlehem, Eric Satula and his wife Diana of Bethlehem, one granddaughter; Caitlin Cattey and her husband John of Naugatuck. She also leaves two sisters; Esther Kailukaitis and her husband John of Naugatuck and Nancy Razcelowski and her husband Gerald of Plymouth, a brother-in-law; John Kacerguis of Bethlehem and a sister-in-law; Marion Mischou and her husband William of Bethlehem as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters; Olga Kacerguis and Lauren Madland.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be to the Bethlehem Volunteer Ambulance Association, 50 Main St. North or the Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department, 26 Main St. North 06751.

Services: Burial services in Bethlehem will be held later in the spring.

Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Friday February 19th at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St., from 5: 00 to 8: 00 pm.
