IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bessie
Weiss
June 1, 1928 – January 5, 2014
Bessie is the third daughter of five born to Michael and Anna Naples Passafiume.
This is who Bessie loved: her husband, Richard, her children, Joseph and Holly, her sisters, Angie Flaminio, and AnnMarie Howe, all of whom predeceased her; and her sisters, Antoinette Casini, and Faye Facchini; her nieces and nephews, her great nieces and nephews, her great-great nieces and nephews and her dearest friends.
This is what Bessie was devoted to: her daughter, Holly, throughout Holly's life, enabling Holly to live a full and enriched life; her profession, nursing, which she practiced for fifty years as a Registered Nurse, taking great pride in her degree in 1949 from Grace New Haven Hospital, School of Nursing (now Yale).
This is what Bessie loved to do, when she was not working: traveling and traveling everywhere; volunteering for needy causes and later participating in senior social activities.
Bessie enjoyed her residence in Hallandale, Florida, with its temperate climate and more recently her residence in Southbury, Connecticut.
