Bernard T. Eskierski Sr., 84, of Currituck Road died Sunday November 4 at Danbury hospital. His wife of 56 years, Stella "MiMi" (Zarski) Eskierski had predeceased him in December of 2006. Mr. Eskierski was born July 5, 1923 in Greenwich, son of the late John and Magdelena (Furyk) Eskierski. He had lived in Port Chester NY and Norwalk, Ct for many years and had worked at Pitney Bowes in Stamford. He had played in the intricacies of the success of his families business, Villarina's Pasta and More, in Newtown and Southbury.
Mr. Eskierski is survived by 2 sons, Bernard T. Eskierski Jr of Newtown, Steven A. Eskierski of Southbury, 2 daughters Joanne Knees of Newtown, Suzanne Eskierski of Southbury and 3 granddaughters, Courtney, Morgan and Joslynn.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday November 7, 2007 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Friends may call in the daily chapel of the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until 11 am. Burial will be held in the St Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY on Wednesday at 2 pm.
