Benny A. Gillotti, 90, of Railtree Hill Road, died Monday June 20, 2011 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Vincenza (Caruso) Gillotti. Mr. Gillotti was born November 22, 1920 in Southbury a son of the late Angelo and Mary (Tomania) Gillotti. He was a lifetime resident of Southbury and Woodbury. He had worked as a plant engineer for Uniroyal at the Fabric Fire House in Sandy Hook. He was an outdoorsman who loved to tinker; enjoyed his dogs, farming, his farm animals and nature.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Benny Gillotti of Florida, Joey Gillotti of Australia, Louis Gillotti of Florida, Daniel Gillotti of Watertown, a daughter Anna Blakely of Massachusetts, a brother Louie Gillotti of Florida, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held privately.

Location: Munson-Lovetere Woodbury

Services: A funeral service will be held Wednesday June 22, 2011 at 8 pm at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School Street.

Visitation: Friends may call the funeral home Wednesday from 4 pm until the time of the service.
