IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Belle
Coda
April 24, 1938 – February 24, 2025
Belle Coda, of Southbury, Connecticut, passed away at the age of 86 on February 24, 2025. She was born Belle Hariton on April 24, 1938, in the Bronx, New York, to the late Eli and Rose Hariton. Belle was the beloved wife of the late Seymour Coda, who preceded her in death after 54 years of marriage.
Belle is survived by her two sons, Robert and Michael, her daughters-in-law Carole and Lori, and five cherished grandchildren: Amanda, Brittany, Ally, Matt, and Julia. She is also survived by her brother, Mark.
A dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, Belle's life was shaped by her devotion to her family. She spent many happy years in Co-op City, where she worked for Riverbay Corporation, managing the Co-Op City development. In addition to her professional work, Belle was a deeply involved member of her synagogue and cherished her connections with the Jewish community. She found joy in reading, but above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, February 26, at Cedar Park & Beth El Cemetery Sanctuary of Abraham in Paramus, NJ. Shiva will be observed at Michael and Lori Coda's home on Wednesday, February 26, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Thursday, February 27, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Belle will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she gave to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
