It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Caulkins, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who left us on June 11, 2025. Barbara was born to Robert and Winifred Kent, on May 14, 1940. She was raised in Easton, Connecticut next to her grandparents dairy farm. She always cherished those early years, which laid the foundation for the warmth and kindness she shared throughout her life. Barbara was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Paul, with whom she spent 48 years building a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. Together, they created a home that welcomed family and friends. She was also pre-deceased by her sister, Nancy Horvath.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Caulkins, Daughter, Lynn Telesco and her husband John. Her siblings, Ronald Kent and Valerie Kent. A sister-in-law, Elizabeth Caulkins. Grandchildren, Emily Avenoso and husband John-Paul and Cicily Telesco.
Barbara took pleasure in her job throughout the years, she worked at Mechanics and Farmer Savings bank, then as a bank teller at Peoples bank.
She loved growing vegetables and Strawberries in her the garden. During the winter, Barbara and her husband, enjoyed burning wood in their potbelly stove. They also enjoyed going camping together in their camper which was kept in Misquamicut, Rhode Island. She loved baking Christmas cookies and pies for her loved ones. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
